iPhone 7 trouble
Updates ran with no problem but continue to receive 2 updates available message even though version shows right. I've called and was told their aware of problem. 5 months later and still no fix. Apps on telephone constantly updating but not once on this app. I would give this app v stars if humminbird would support and update problems.
This app is terrible! Aforementioned bug almost a year subsequently. I mainly wanted this app for Bluetooth updates, which repeatedly alerts me to update back to old versions. I would give 1 star but peachy support staff carrying a expressionless duck.
Hard disk Lake Main maps on my phone and tablet
The app is free which is awesome and it gives you satellite imagery of any lake you want to see. The in app purchase of an HD lake is like shooting fish in a barrel and then gives you all the features simply like the Humminbird units. Depth highlight, shallow water highlight, water level starting time, make waypoints and routes. I use this app on my iPad so I tin can study lakes and plan trips from my couch. Also have the iPad on the boat and utilize the app to run the waypoints I made. Favorite characteristic is the quick ability to hide or show the HD map layers. Use the satellite imagery as the overlay and then slide the circle at the lower right of the screen and see things others miss on the imagery.
Useful tool
I actually like this app for the ease of scouting on my phone. I hate spending extra coin on maps I feel I take already paid for with my lakemaster fleck, just I recollect information technology was worth it for my most fished lakes.
Where this app could improve:
Why can't nosotros select all of the waypoints from a road and hide them all at once? Selecting 100 waypoints individually and hiding them is a PAIN
Why does the app demand to validate my purchase every time I open the app? This process takes too long.
I wish information technology would give me the selection to rename a waypoint right when I create it. Having to become in and edit information technology just adds more steps. I don't think almost people utilize the default naming convention.
It would be nice if we could zoom in equally far as you lot can in google earth.
Why can't we upload waypoints/routes to our graphs just like uploading FW to the unit via BT?
I use this on my iPad and my iPhone. Why tin can't we accept a setting to link my devices to share the waypoints between them?
